“Unbewusstes Bewusstsein” “Unconscious Consciousness”
Unbewusstes Bewusstsein explores the intangible process of human inner development through the pillars of body – mind – soul. Inspired by Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophy, the collection translates the unseen into tactile form, creating garments that balance comfort and discomfort, softness and harshness, dream and reality.
Through layering, knitwear experimentation, and sculptural shapes that wrap around the body, the collection evokes a surreal relationship between human and material — revealing how contrasts coexist and shape our perception of self. It invites a deeper awareness of vulnerability, connection, and the spiritual dimensions of everyday life.
Dreamlike Consciousness - Dreamlike consciousness is to know what is there, yet also sense what we do not immediately see or perceive. It means looking beyond the obvious, perceiving a garment as a holistic whole while remaining aware of its individual pieces and details. In this way, I seek to consciously perceive the unconscious.
